last year and a half or so in annual and sick leave status on the Active Government

who asks me to the prom

and i guess she thought that was

down.. and eventually rose up to
a couple of decades of relative
happiness.. and even met
that dark haired girl
who would never

our desert
Isle.. now..
so yes.. there was
a reason in dArk for
the liGht of that break
up too.. that would be almost
precisely 10 years from that
date in September of
1979 and Hurricane
Frederick.. to
when Katrina
and i consummated
what would be a marriage
in 1990 in February the 21st..
of September 21st in
1989.. a cycle
of happiness yes..
yet to come greater
than i could ever
imagine before…
and it was
strange
when i first
met that Cuban
girl.. a spark
of intuition told
me she wasn’t THE ONE..
and the other one looked
like her i was looking for
and yes.. they do look very
much alike.. and that reminds
me of that collage of photos of
all the the other girls i speak

the feet of my high water pants..
and the day i saw
him on the side
of the road coming
back home on the bus
from middle school..

never come home

he was like
my only friend
outside of family

way my mind works.. it’s still
like it is now.. when the movie
plays in my head.. and i never had
another dog after that as it felt
like i was dying then.. the same
way it felt like i was dying
when that Cuban/Irish girl
said i can’t

i got my magic back..
i started believing that
dreams come true again.. and
they did.. and even though much
more darkness would come.. through
that break down.. a baker act..
an escape from being
institutionalized
for the rest of
my life at
age 21..

how much i had accomplished before
at the top of my class in school
and volunteered in youth groups

me hell and brought me here
